Description
The Autonomous Telescope is an ongoing project aimed at transforming a telescope mounted on an equatorial mount into a fully autonomous observation system. Its goal is to make stargazing more accessible, intuitive, and enjoyable. The project consists of several components, ranging from 3D design and mechanical engineering to the development of a dedicated mobile application. In the initial phase, a feasibility study was conducted to analyze the operation of existing telescopes and to identify the specific needs and technical constraints of the project. Once this stage was completed, a 3D design of the motor supports and the additional hardware to be integrated into the telescope was created.
